I am Khin Lay Nwe Tun (or) Chit Chit from Phan Tee Eain (Creative Home) Organization. I graduated at University in Mawlamyine with BSc (Physics)and I gottwo diploma in gender and development and diploma in Peace and Security in Myanmar from Myanmar Institute of Peace and Security studies and Myanmar Institution of Gender Studies.My position is Program Coordinator and I have great responsible and commitment for PTE because of I am a Senior Management Team member. According to Program Coordinator position, I have strong responsible and commitment on program department, organization development and strategical operation. Presently, PTE has been operating 5 Project which are Strengthening a responsive, diverse and democratic civil society in Myanmar project supported by EU and Action Aid Myanmar, Collective Voice Project supported by 3MDG, Women Led program supported by Trocaire, Sexual Gender Based Violence Project funded by International supported by US Embassy and Learning experiences and different challenges between men and women polling officers involved in Bi-Election funded by NDI and Increasing women participation and decision making role in politics and public life under the program Department.
I worked at Phan Tee Eain (Creative Home) organization as Program Officer from 1st April, 2013 to 31st Dec, 2015 and I implemented women participation in decision making level at all sector projectand Organization Development funded by Amatae and Political Awareness raising and Civic Education in respectively project supported by EU.
Before, I worked in Better Life Organization as community mentor in Women Empowerment Project and Gender Based Violence Project from 1st March, 2014 to 31st Oct, 2012 at Rakhain state in Myanmar. And also, I didfreelance researcher and Facilitatorwho has implemented Anti- gender based violence project meeting with PLHIV women, Community women especially for raising awareness and knowledge about HIV/ AIDS and for empowering personal development that can enable to work community development increased by self-confident. I did three researches which are dangerous traditional practices are lead to sexual gender based violence, police sector reforms and women participation in decision making bodies in political and public life.
Currently, I am a Steering Committee Member of Access to Justice Network and I am actively participation to achieve A2JI network’s objectives and goals. I am a member of International Women Peace Group and I have been implementing signature campaign and awareness rising to support of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.
